Stop guessing how your people are wired.
I’m a Birkman certified consultant with 20+ years in higher education. I’ve helped leaders and teams read themselves and each other clearly, then do something useful with it.
Why me
I’ve delivered and discussed Birkman assessments with dozens of folks. I’ve administered the assessment, led debriefs, and managed the 360 process. I know this tool from the inside, not just the slide deck.
Credentials, short version: Birkman certified. CPTM. CAM. Two decades across UGA housing and private student housing, running learning programs, onboarding, and leadership development.
And I don’t just hand you your report and wave goodbye. I’ve taken every assessment I talk about, and my results are right here on this page. I lead with my own wiring so you know exactly who you’re getting.
My results
I’ve been told I’m a lot. My Birkman agrees.
Birkman Signature Report. My interests sit in the GREEN quadrant: selling, promoting, persuading, motivating, counseling, teaching. My usual behavior is RED: decisive, frank, logical, energetic, direct. Top interest scores: Scientific 94, Persuasive 92, Musical 90. High energy (Physical Energy 99), high assertiveness (91), and I run on a plan (Insistence 92). My stress side: domineering, distracted, disorganized when my needs go unmet. Nobody’s perfect.
Birkman isn’t the only assessment I’ve done. Here are some of the other assessments I’ve completed and their results.
The Honest Enneagram. Sarajane Case’s take on the Enneagram, which sorts people into nine types by core motivation and fear instead of surface behavior. I’m an 8, the Challenger, with a 9 wing: direct, protective, steady under pressure. In her book’s naming, the 8 is the Defender of Justice.
Working Genius. Six types of work, measuring where you contribute the most energy and joy. My geniuses: Galvanizing and Enablement. My frustrations: Invention and Tenacity. I rally people and get them moving. Don’t ask me to invent the widget or polish it for the tenth time, that’s just not where I thrive.
Hungry Humble Smart. From Patrick Lencioni’s The Ideal Team Player at The Table Group. It measures the three virtues every great teammate needs: hungry, humble, and smart. All three of mine tied, so the tiebreaker ranked them: Hungry first at 4.11, a personal strength. Smart second at 3.67. Humble third at 3.44, my growth edge, and the report says so in plain words.

16Personalities. A personality framework built on five traits that sorts people into sixteen types. I’m a Commander, ENTJ-A: bold, strategic, and built to lead.
CliftonStrengths. Ranks thirty-four talent themes by what energizes you. My top five: Command, Harmony, Self-Assurance, Consistency, Includer.
True Colors. A temperament system that sorts people into four colors: Orange, Gold, Green, and Blue. I took it years ago and came out 75% Orange: energetic, action-oriented, and at my best when things are moving.
The MBA Inventory. Short for Motivating By Appreciation, from the 5 Languages of Appreciation in the Workplace. It identifies how you best feel valued at work. Mine: primary is Acts of Service, secondary is Receiving Gifts. Pitch in and help, or put something tangible in my hands, and it lands.
Bottom line, all of these are great but none of these go as deep as Birkman. They’re useful snapshots, but the Birkman is the only one that maps your usual behavior, your needs, and your stress reactions in one place. That’s why it’s the backbone of my consulting work.
